Run Around Australia

When it comes to reaching any goal, especially big or long term goals, it is important to measure your progress, which is why I needed to Map my run. Thanks to Google Maps I have been able to map my run.

This is a fully operational map of the first stage of my run around Australia challenge. You can zoom in and out move it left or right. Each flag represents a run. So please feel free to play around and explore my progress as I tackle my goal of running around Australia.

This is the fourth stage of my Run Around Australia Challenge, starting from Brisbane in the Queensland and heading up north along the coast passing the sunshine coast, Maryborough, Hervey Bay, Bundaburg, Gladstone, Rockhampton, Mackay, Townsville and finally into Cairns, which marks the end of this stage.

In reaching Cairns it will also mark the achievment of another long term goal, as this will also mark the completion of the east coast of Australia.
As this stage is totally contained within the State of Queensland, my total of States and Territories visited will remain at 4 out of 7 and the same applies to the number of Capital Cities which remains at 3 out of 7.
